

I'm sorry I couldn't complete 7F in time, resulting in this weird workaround. However, the integrated version will contain some extra (light) progression and post-game elements, too, so I'd encourage people who like Iris to snack on the standalone since there will be some des(s)erts later anyway. If you don't want to play it twice or want to play it on "your" save, you'll need to wait a bit longer (few weeks) for 7F to be finished, and you can then play them in sequence.


8F is not particularly contingent on the events of 7F, so people worried about story spoilers or continuity should be fine with the standalone version. 8F will be integrated to the full Tower after 7F, which is unfortunately not done (obviously) but is getting there. Sounds like it'd be pretty annoying to use if there are. Not sure if there are individual editors regarding text strings for RPG Maker. That's probably a really naive/rudimentary way of doing it, though. Just have a dialogue in the beginning that asks "English or French?" and then put a switch on, that then ignores the English dialogue and only does the French translation one. To have an actual other option that changes the dialogue. Not sure if that is even possible for RPG Maker though. In that case you could work with them to translate it (Perhaps sending Koda the translations along with the corresponding English dialogue it is translating and he just copy pastes them in the appropriate areas).
